Art Deco District is an Architectural District situated in the South Beach area of Miami beach. This area is widely popular because world renowned Italian designer Gianni Versace used to live here in a mansion on Ocean drive. It is a very interesting location in Miami which is filled with Deco buildings. With more than 800 buildings and structures that were built between 1923 and 1943, the tourists have a lot to discover. Barbara Baer Capitman worked hard and helped Art Deco district gain national protection.
