It is situated along the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico, running from Florida, Boston, Massachusetts, then The Gulf Coast to Texas. Intracoastal waterway is built to provide a navigable route along its length to avoid many of the threats of travel on the sea. It takes three to four weeks to boat the whole Intracoastal Waterway.
