Montauk Point State Park

To experience some of the surf fishing head to Montauk Point State Park. It’s located at the eastern point of the South Shore. You’ll get scenic views of converging tides racing over the calm Atlantic and the Block Island Sound, too. You have the options to have picnics under pine trees, hike the natural trails, and watch seals on the rocks offshore. At the beach itself, you’ll have the pleasures of enjoying water sports such as surfing, wind surfing, and paddle boarding. For an afternoon tour, visit the historic Montauk Lighthouse and its museum up top.
