Mystras is an Archeological site nearby Sparti located at the domain of Laconia.’The wonder of the Morea’was made as an Amphitheatre around the castle assembled in 1249 y William of Villehardouin,the crowned head of Achaia.It is one of the main sites in Greece and it comprises the well preserved churches of Byzantine.The castle town used to be very strong during the Byzantine times.In the last decade this used to be the second most important city after Constantinople.A new village has been build where many long established accommodations are found.The area around is crossed by many hiking trails heading to beautiful spots.
