Nelson Mandela

An anti-apartheid revolutionary, Nelson Mandela served as a political leader and philanthropist. He carried out his responsibility as the President of South Africa starting from 1994 to 1999. Nelson Mandela was the first to become a President from the black community. He served in jail for 27 long years. Throughout his life, due to his contribution to the world, he received many honors including the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize.
