St. Johns County is in the northeast region of the state of Florida in the United States. It has a population of 273,425, according to the United States Census of 2020. St. Augustine is the county seat and the largest municipal city. The Jacksonville region includes St. Johns County. In 1821, the county was formed. Today, St. Johns County is mostly made up of residential suburban areas for Jacksonville commuters.
