The St. Patrick’s Cathedral is another of NYC’s Gothic Revival wonders, which sits covering an entire city block. The largest one in US, it is home to New York’ Roman Catholic Archdiocese. Whether a believer or a tourist, you’re bound to be astounded by its magnificent interior. Be careful not to stumble outside at the sight of the marble covered façade and 330-foot twin spires. Entering through the massive bronze doors, your eyes will first land on the 35 columns, the stained glass panels, and the gorgeous rose window. Greet the Pieta, then tour the 21 alters and check out the 19 bells, each representing a different saint.
