The Fort St. Angelo

Climb at the tip of Birgu, one of the Three Cities, to explore the Fort St. Angelo. Back in the Norman days, it was built by the Knights to provide a safe shelter to the inhabitants. Later on it performed as headquarter to the armies of French, and then British army and navy. It has incredible examples of weaponry in display. You’ll also get the quaint views of the Grand Harbor and the landscapes beyond. But aside from its structural glory and factual history, why spikes the interest of the tourists is the Ghost of the Grey Lady. Now that’s an interesting story you’d want to hear at the very spot. And if you’re lucky, you might even get a small glimpse of Ghost Lady who supposedly had saved the lives of many soldiers during war.
