The World Heritage Sites are places under legal protection by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. These vantage points are designated by UNESCO as they hold much cultural, scientific and historical importance. In order to be selected as a World Heritage Site, the place should have some unique features basing on physical and cultural parameters. Mostly the ruins of ancient civilizations or historical structures, cities, buildings are regarded as the World Heritage Sites.
